ABOUT THE BLOG (AND ME!)

The moment I heard about studying abroad, I knew that I wanted it to be part of my college experience. I have always wanted to travel more in my life, and I am eternally grateful to have this opportunity to live across the world in Edinburgh, Scotland until May. On here I will share with you all two things that I love but don't get to do often: writing and photography. I hope that you all get a glimpse into what is going to be a wonderful five months!

Now for a little bit about me! For anyone who doesn't know, my name is Gabi and I am a junior at the University of Connecticut. I am from Verona, New Jersey, and yes, I am a proud Jersey girl. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing in my journal, drawing, and exploring the outdoors. I haven't traveled much but I have an adventurous spirit, and I hope that this semester abroad will show me a part of myself that I never even knew existed.
